The humiliation of Ao Kuang

Four dragon kings. One for each sea. However one ruled supreme. His name, was Ao Kuang and he ruled over the east. They all would make the humans give up their goods. Food and even on occasion a human sacrifice. If they refused, the mortals would be terrorized by floods and monsoons.

When the men went to the Jade emperor for help Ao Kuang would drown them. He reveled in his control, his power.

Then it all went wrong.

When Sun Wukong the "Monkey-King" began his westward journey, he needed armor and weapons. Who better to raid than the armory of a dragon king? When the upstart monkey hybrid came to Ao kuang's underwater palace demanding weapons of course he said no. Sun Wukong's response was beating Ao Kuang in a fight and raiding his weaponry. He also took Ruyi Jingu Bang a magical mace that helped Ao kuang control the tide.

With his grip loosened over men they returned to times of pleasure. Ew. That meant happiness. Happiness caused children. Children caused laughter. Ew. One of those children was Ne zha. Ew.

Ne zha had two major friends like most children and one day they were playing by the ocean. The ocean on the east. The one above Ao Kuangs palace. Ao Kuang couldn't sleep with all the never ending laughter. So, like all grumpy immortals, he sent a warrior to kill the three. Ao Kuang knew his warrior failed when the water turned red with the warriors blood. In anger Ao Kuang sent his third son to kill the child. This time Ao Kuang watched the fight. In other words he watched a dragon prince get murdered by a 10 year old. In his sorrow he warned the family of Nezha that he would drown the town and they would be the last ones to die. Ne zha, cowardly said something along the lines of,"Oh Great Ao Kuang the powerful, I am not cool your cool. I am so lame. Anyway, kill me not the entire town. Did I say your cool and I am lame?" Anyway tat's the way Ao Kuang tells the story but you know because Ao Kuang was just a tad bit furious now. He killed everyone in the village. I approve of his problem solving skills.

A monk heard of Ne Zha's "bravery" and used a lotus to revive him and made him immortal(which is totally unfair) Ne zha then proceeded to slightly injure(cripple) Ao Kuang.
